Not so very long ago there was a Man, a journeyer,
someone on the path toward himself.
One day, an Angry Associate came to the Man and began
to rant and complain about both the attitude and an
action the Man had taken. The Angry Associate felt it
was his duty to "put the Man in his place" by shaming
him with an assault of words.
The Man listened without emotion to the report from
the Angry Associate, who paused. He was out of breath
with all consuming passion for the anger he was
harboring toward the Man.
As the Angry Associate settled into his pause, the Man
said, "Thank you for visiting me today. Did you want me
to respond to what you had to say, which I am prepared
to do, or did you simply want to get your feelings and
emotions out, which you have already done so
eloquently?"
The Angry Associate looked upon the man and smiled.
"Thank you," he replied. Then he turned, and left, no
longer the Angry Associate.
