Is it possible for one person to change the world?
Absolutely. You do it all the time.
Life isn't an underground tunnel. You can't slip
through it unnoticed. Good or bad, you have an
impact on people. You lift them up or drag them
down with the words you speak or the words
you leave unspoken, your action or inaction, the
scowl or the smile on your face.
How you interact with people is the change you
bring to the world. Every time you engage in
simple exchanges with store clerks, gas station
attendants, waiters and waitresses, coworkers -
everyone you come in to contact with - a
measure of change is created. Your mark is
made.
You effect change on friends and loved ones.
They feel better or worse after an encounter
with you.
Don't question the possibility of one person
making a difference in the lives of others. Every
person brings change to the world. The 'kind' of
change you bring about, is the difference you
make.
The light in a room is either dimmed or
brightened by your presence.
